Some Answers for a Low Point in The Braves’ Season

It is hard to know what to do when your team goes on a skid. As if loosing Smoltz for the season, and having Glavine going on the DL wasn’t enough, the Braves went on a 6 game loosing streak that finally ended last night with a 5-2 win over the Angels.

I came across a blog post last night that gave me some answers. It is from our friends over at BravesBlast.com. Read it here:

Counseling Session with Smitty

Thanks Smitty. I needed that!

Why when young pitchers pitch their hearts out, the Braves go underground.?
Maybe when the game is on the line, Bobby Cox gets pinch hitters for Francoeur and Texeria .

I needed that counseling session as well. I don’t give up on my boys no matter what happens. I will say picking up a few wins on the road was somewhat encouraging but 3-6 is not what I hoped for.

At least we got the M’s to pick on ( I hope).

I’ll have some pics up from my trip to see the Braves at Wrigley soon. I know it was a loss but I had a great time out there.

Take it easy and don’t stop choppin’!!

JB, I’ll be sure to stop by to check out those Wrigley pictures. Let’s hope with McLaren getting fired today the M’s will be out of whack.
